Take cautionary measures if on any medication: Detoxification can potentially alter the way in which certain medications work. Take your Smart Cleanse products first then wait 2-3 hours until you take your medication. The great thing about the Smart Cleanse detox program is that you only have to take your products morning and night, so you can leave time between taking your gut cleanse powder and your medications.
Pre-detox preparation is a must: It is highly recommended to taper off the major toxins such as caffeine, alcohol, sugar and processed salt gradually over 4 days to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
Colon Cleanse Formula in week 1: A source of fibre which aids regular laxation. Every individual responds differently so it is suggested to start at half a scoop once daily only (30mins before breakfast), then build the serve gradually over 3 days to one heaped scoop. OPTIONALLY build to 2 heaped scoops daily only if required.
Take cautionary measures if on any medication: Detoxification can potentially alter the way in which certain medications work. To solve that problem all you need to do is take your medication 2-3 hours apart. What foods should I be eating while I’m on the Program?
In the first week of the digestive system cleanse, you can consume 3 organic meals a day comprised of protein, vegetables, good fats, seeds and caffeine-free herbal tea. In week two, you can add 2 pieces of fruit. You should avoid the four major toxins throughout: caffeine, alcohol, sugar and table salt.
Our 14 Day Smart Cleanse Detox Kit comes with a comprehensive mini booklet that contains all the program information for detoxification and the Smart Cleanse Weight Loss Plan with Allowable Food Lists, Carb and Calorie Counter, and 30 gourmet detox and weight loss recipes. Our Smart Cleanse dietary program is completely individualised. You can adapt the Allowable Food List to make recipes that suit your meal preferences and special dietary requirements.

What can I do if the Products make me feel unwell?
The products contain clean, certified organic ingredients, and are flavoured naturally using natural and organic peppermint, pineapple and coconut, berry, and cinnamon and vanilla bean powders. The products are also low allergen, meaning they do not contain any yeast, gluten, milk derivatives, preservatives, artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners.
If you do, however, have an adverse reaction to any one of the products, please discontinue, and just carry on with the Detox Rules and Smart Cleanse Weight Loss Plan. Please also Google the Herxheimer Reaction. It’s a very critical part of the detoxification process if you suffer from any Gut Dysbiosis (imbalances within your gut microbiome). All the symptoms of detox are normal and will be gone soon.
Can I have any alcohol during 14 Day Smart Cleanse?
No, none. Alcohol is one of the major toxins so needs to be avoided for successful detoxification, liver health, and weight loss.
Can I have any salt during 14 Day Smart Cleanse?
No refined salt or table salt is allowed as salt can cause adverse health effects. However, a small amount, 2/5 of a teaspoon of organic sea salt, Pink Himalayan, or Celtic Sea Salt should be used daily. It is actually very rich in minerals and our body requires unrefined salt for health. There is a big difference between the white easy to pour table salt and natural untouched salt, that hasn’t been tampered with.
