MOROCCAN SPICED ATLANTIC SALMON SALAD WITH AVOCADO TAHINI DRESSING - WEEK 1 RAPID WEIGHT LOSS
(Serves 2) 17.5g carbs in total - 8.75g carbs each person
This salad is absolutely delicious, will make your mouth water, and more importantly keep you in that magic state of fat burning / ketosis ! This is an all time favourite of mine! Hope you love it too.
SALAD INGREDIENTS
1 Fennel bulb
1 small bunch fresh leaf parsely, leaves mainly (1/2 a cup)
1 small bunch of fresh dill (1/4 cup)
1/2 red onion (50 grams)
1 tbspn Sesame seeds (25g)
2 x sustainable atlantic Salmon fillets, skin off
1 cube of butter
Olive oil
MARINADE FOR ATLANTIC SALMON
Olive oil
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tbspn of fennel seeds
1 tspn moroccan spice
1 tspn sumac
1 tspn sesame seeds
Sea salt & pepper
AVOCADO TAHINI DRESSING
1/4 of a cup olive oil
2 tbspn tahini
1/4 cup water
1 tbspn organic wasabi
Juice of 1 lime
Sea salt & pepper
1 Avocado
METHOD
To marinade salmon
- Cut salmon into cubes
- Place zip lock bag over jug to hold ingredients
- Place salmon in bag, pour in all marinade ingredients and massage through
- Cook in non stick pan for 5 mins or until cooked through and allow to cool slightly
To make avocado tahini dressing
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until light and fluffy
- If too thick thin out with water or some extra lime juice
To make salad
- Chop salad ingredients and place in salad bowl
- Place moroccan salmon on top
- Pour over avocado tahini dressing
- Season with sea salt and pepper
